About Us
I grew up in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan and received a B.A. in Economics. I also attended the Air Force ROTC program and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenat. I attended Williams Air Force Base in Phoenix AZ where I went on to become a T-37 instructor, Student Check Pilot, and then a Standardization Officer giving Instructor Pilots their annual checkrides. I also managed the base life support program, the runway supervisory unit, and assisted in the safety program.

After Williams AFB I chose to fly the C-5 Galaxy at Travis AFB in CA. There I became an aircraft commander, instructor, aerial refueling specialist, and an instructor in low level navigation and precision landings.

In December on 1989 I left the Air Force in pursuit of my life long dream of becoming a major Airline Pilot. Since that time I have flown as a B-727 Second Officer, DC-10 Second Officer and instructor, an A330 First Officer and currently an A320 Captain.

I am blessed to have the best wife and mother of our children a pilot could ever ask for. Cheryl and I have six fantastic children and 4 grandchildren. My flying has given us invaluable life experience and opportunities that have helped us grow in many ways over the years.
